Our priority during our Cyber Week/ Cyber Monday event is to get your order shipped to you as soon as possible! Due to the high volume of orders, this may take us a bit longer than normal. A shipment confirmation is typically emailed 5-7 business days after your order was placed depending on the country it is shipping to. The shipment confirmation will include your tracking number, so you can easily check in on your package. For US Orders, please allow 7-10 business days from the time you receive your shipping confirmation. For orders to the US, Hawaii & Alaska, standard shipping is $6 outside of free shipping promotions! Standard shipping to Puerto Rico is $6, or free with a $45+ purchase.
Expedited shipping options are available for an additional fee depending on your location! These options & prices are listed at check out. Please note: FedEx Overnight & 2 Day shipping refers to the time after the package has left the warehouse which may take 1-2 business days.

To avoid shipping address issues in the future, we recommend updating your address details in your tarteperks Loyalty account. You may also need to confirm that you have the correct saved addresses in third party payment accounts such as PayPal, ApplePay, Afterpay and Amazon Pay.
All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Indiana, USA.
Once you place your order, please allow 1-2 business days for warehouse processing for all shipping methods. Processing time may be extended during high volume periods. You can track your order here.
For orders to the US, standard shipping uses DHL, FedEx Ground, or FedEx Smartpost (the package will ship via FedEx and be delivered by your local USPS). Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico can only be sent via DHL or Fed Ex standard shipping.
Some products & ingredients have shipping restrictions outlined by the U.S. Department of Transportation. These products are not available for air-transport & can only be shipped ground. In addition, we regret that we are not able to offer shipping of these restricted products to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico.
Orders shipping to the contiguous US will arrive within 7-10 business days. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico may take 15 days or longer to arrive once shipped.
tarte.com ships to US P.O. Boxes for Standard Shipping only. If FedEx Expedited Shipping is selected on the checkout page, the order must include a street address, or it will be cancelled before it is shipped from the warehouse. The customer will not be charged for the cancelled order.
Yes, tarte does ship to APO boxes and military addresses. Due to military handling time, delivery to some destinations may take up to 30 or more days.

We'll place your Auto-Delivery orders automatically according to your selected frequency, & you’ll only be billed on the day the order is shipped. We’ll send you an email reminder 10 days before each Auto-Delivery order. You’ll also receive email notifications regarding other important information related to your Auto-Delivery account, including when your item is discontinued or out of stock, if you cancel your subscription, & confirmation when an order is placed successfully.
Once you’ve joined, Auto-Delivery is super easy to update! You can change your next order date, skip an order, change your selected frequency, or cancel a subscription by visiting the 'Auto-Delivery’ section in your account.

To change your next order date, please visit the 'Auto-Delivery’ tab within the My Account section & click the 'Change Date’ button to the right of the next order date, then select a new date for your order. This will change the order date for the entire order & your next order will be the subscription frequency from the new order date.
If an Auto- Delivery order contains multiple items & you’d only like to change the order date of a single item, please visit the 'Auto - Delivery' in the My Account section & select 'Pause’. When the calendar pops up, change the date you’d like to have an order for those items to be placed.
To skip a subscription order, visit the 'Auto-Delivery’ section within the My Account section & click the 'Skip Shipment’ button to the right of the upcoming order date.
To modify the delivery frequency for a subscription item, please visit the 'Auto-Delivery’ section within the My Account section. To change the delivery frequency for an individual subscription item, simply click the frequency dropdown next to the subscription item you’d like to modify & select your next desired frequency from the dropdown menu.
To cancel a subscription item, please visit the 'Auto-Delivery’ section within the My Account section & simply click the 'Cancel Subscription’ link to the right of the subscription details. You’ll be prompted to confirm this action & indicate your reason for canceling. Once you’ve selected a cancel reason & clicked the 'Cancel Subscription’ button, your subscription will be canceled & no future orders will be placed. You’ll receive an email notification confirming this action.

To review or modify your Auto-Delivery account information, visit 'Auto-Delivery’ located within your account. You can change your shipping address for an individual order or at the subscription item level, which is the default option & will affect all future orders.
To change your shipping address for an order, please visit the 'Auto- Delivery’ within the My Account section & click the 'Change Shipping Address’ link located directly under the current shipping information. Select a previous shipping address from the dropdown menu or create a new one to add to your account.This address will apply to all subscriptions & future orders unless otherwise noted.

Start by going through the concealer quiz experience to find your perfect product matches and shades. Once completed, you can opt to Try Before You Buy up to 5 of the recommended products on your results page. You can also access Try Before You Buy from the included items' product pages. From there, you can check out without being charged for the products you are trying. You have 21 days from the day that the order ships to determine if your products are the right match and can choose to initiate a free return of your products. To return your products, use the prepaid return label in your returns portal. Products must be dropped off at an authorized FedEx retailer drop-off point and scanned in by FedEx within 21 days of your order shipping out to you. If you chose to keep your items, you will be charged for the full order amount (inclusive of taxes and any applicable shipping) after 21 days.
Yes! You will receive free standard shipping on Try Before You Buy orders, and may chose an expedited ship method for an added cost. If a Try Before You Buy order is returned, the expedited shipping fee is not refundable if you chose that ship method at checkout. If you opted for free standard shipping, you will not be charged any shipping fees regardless of if you keep or return your order.
Items that have Try Before You Buy indicated on their product pages, as well as products recommended to you at the end of the concealer quiz are eligible for Try Before You Buy. Yes, you can add items for purchase to your Try Before You Buy order. Your bag page will separate Try Before You Buy items from those for purchase, allowing you to check out separately.
When placing a Try Before You Buy order, you are authorizing a temporary hold on your credit card for the full amount of your order including applicable shipping and taxes, which may reduce the available balance or credit limit of your Payment Method for the duration of the temporary hold. You will be charged the full order amount (inclusive of applicable shipping and taxes) 21 days after the order ships, if your order is not returned. If your Try Before You Buy order has multiple items and you choose to keep part of your order, you will be charged for the items you are keeping as soon as the item(s) you opt to return is dropped off at FedEx for return processing.
If your order is returned, it can take up to 4 business days for the temporary hold on your credit card to be removed. Credit Card is the only payment method accepted for Try Before You Buy orders.
Not your match? Initiate a free USPS return label through our returns portal within 21 days of shipping and you won’t be charged for the product. Return orders must be dropped off at an authorized USPS location and scanned in by USPS within 21 days of your order shipping to you. There is a limit of 1 return per Try Before You Buy Order; All items that you’d like to return must be placed in the same package.
Here’s how to track your returns:
Tracking your return is simple. You’ll reference the tracking number printed on the prepaid return label and enter it into the USPS package tracker .
Once your item is scanned in by USPS, we’ll remove the temporary hold on your credit card for the items being returned. It may take up to 4 business days for the temporary hold on your credit card to be removed. If your refund hasn’t been issued within that time, please contact us and we'll sort things out.

Your redeemable points are the number of points you have available to redeem for rewards as part of the tarte™ perks loyalty program. This number decreases with each reward you redeem, and increases with each qualifying purchase you make at tarte.com. To view your current redeemable points balance, visit your tarte™ perks member dashboard or the tarte™ perks overview page when logged into your account.
Your redeemable points balance will expire if you do not make a qualifying purchase or activity within 12 months from your last purchase or last activity.
Your point balance can be found on your tarte™ perks rewards page and on your my account page when you’re logged in.
tarte perks reward discounts cannot be combined with other offers. For example, if you use your tarte perks redeemable points for 10% off of the total price for the eligible items in your cart, you may not use another coupon in the same transaction. Similarly, if tarte is running a promotional price on a product on tarte.com, you cannot also use your tarte perks redeemable points for an additional discount on that product.
tarte perks reward discounts can only be used at tarte.com and cannot be combined with gift cards or store credit. The reward discounts cannot be used in store with our retail partners.
If you return an item that you have earned loyalty points for, the points for that item will be deducted from your points balance.
Tarte™ perks members are able to complete qualifying activities to earn redeemable points. To view the qualifying activities, please visit the tarte™ perks page.
You will receive points for leaving a review only through the email you receive approximately 21 days after you purchase. Once you complete the review, the points will be awarded to your account. If you add photo(s) to your review, additional points per photo will also be rewarded to your account. You will not earn points for leaving a review that has been submitted on site.
There are five possible statuses:
Earned - You have successfully completed a points-earning action and points have been awarded to your redeemable points balance.
Progress to complete - Shows how much of the points-earning action has been completed
Reversed - When points are deducted due to a canceled action. For example, a customer can receive points for successfully referring a friend. However, if the friend cancels their purchase, the referring customer will have the points they earned for a successful referred reversed ( = deducted).
Refunded - Points deducted due to a refund. If you made a purchase and received points and then returned any items - the points earned will be deducted from the redeemable points balance.
Pending - This status will only appear if a certain earning rule is set with a reward delay. For example, if a campaign is set to reward you points with a delay of 5 days, the campaign will show in the points history as 'pending' for those 5 days and will change to "earned" once those 5 days are up.
Your tier status can be found above the 'Level Up' chart on the tarte™ perks rewards page when you are logged in.
Your tarte™ perks tier is determined by how many redeemable points you earn in any calendar year. Redeemable points accumulated in the previous calendar year do not contribute to your tier advancement in the current calendar year. To learn how many points are needed to advance to the next tier, please see your progress bar above the tier benefits chart on the tarte™ perks page. Make sure you’re logged in!
Your status is good for the year in which you qualify for that tier and the following next year. For example, if you are Superstar during your first year, you'll maintain Superstar during your second year. However, if you earn less than 4,500 points on qualifying purchases during your second year, you'll drop down to the lowest tier, Natural Beauty at the start of the third year. If you drop down to the lowest tier, you will only be eligible for the tier benefits of natural beauty.
You can redeem your points for coupon rewards and reward products in your cart. When you redeem your points for coupon rewards in your cart, tarte.com will automatically apply a discount to eligible items in your cart. You can only redeem your points for coupon rewards and product rewards if you have at least 1 item in the cart. You cannot combine tarte™ perks rewards with other offers or other discount codes. Tarte™ may, in it's sole discretion, turn on and off loyalty coupons in checkout during any promotions.
For activities like taking a quiz, the points will be awarded instantly to your redeemable points balance. For purchase activities, such as double points on shape tape™ concealer, your order must be shipped until the points process and credit to your account.
You will receive your free birthday gift in the first week of your birthday month. The free birthday gift will be sent through email providing a 20% off code to apply on your next order. Make sure you're logged in to apply & redeem!

For US orders, tarte.com accepts American Express, Visa and, Mastercard. We also accept PayPal, ApplePay, Afterpay, and AmazonPay. Please note we do not accept banking gift cards, international credit cards, checks or money orders.
When you place an order using a debit or credit card, an authorization is obtained from your bank. The authorization places a temporary hold on the funds. Please note: these funds have not been deducted but are being held within your account to ensure the order can be processed. This hold typically lasts from 7-10 days, depending on the policy of your bank. Your debit or credit card will not be charged until your order is shipped.
You can apply your e-gift card at the PAYMENT section of checkout in the box that says 'REDEEM GIFT CARD.' Please note that e-gift cards are available for US customers.
Depending on your bank or payment processor, US refunds should be processed within 7-10 business days.
Don’t worry! We will only charge your credit card when your order is successfully placed and at the time of shipment. If your order did not go through, you may still see a pending transaction on your credit card, but it isn’t an actual charge. It’s a temporary authorization hold that was created when you attempted to place your order. This authorization hold will be removed within 7 - 10 business days and the funds will be released back to your account.
For security purposes, we require the billing & shipping countries/regions of your purchase to be the same.
We are required by law to collect state sales tax on orders being shipped to the following states - AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, NE, NV, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV, WI, WY and all provinces in Canada. Sales tax is calculated on the total of your order, after discount. The amount of tax charged to your order depends on your shipping address. The tax is calculated based on state rates and the items you are purchasing. We'll always show you how much Sales Tax you'll be charged when you go to checkout.
To support local nonprofits across the country, Tarte will within 45 days make a donation to PayPal Giving Fund (PPGF) an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) charity, to benefit your chosen charity, subject to PPGF’s terms. Tarte will cover all applicable processing fees so that 100% of your donation reaches the chosen nonprofit. PPGF typically grants funds to recommended charities within 15-45 days. In the rare event PPGF can’t fund the chosen charity, it will reassign the funds to a similar charity. Since the donation is made by Tarte, the charity will not receive your information and you will not be entitled to a tax deduction.
AfterPay allows you to pay for your purchase over four equal installments, due every two weeks, without any interest. This payment option is only available on US orders. You’ll pay your first installment at the time of purchase, and the remainder over time.

Afterpay is always zero interest, and there are never additional fees when you pay on time. The only fees are for late payments. We'll email your payment schedule and send notifications so there are no surprises.
Please note: All items in your shopping bag must be eligible for Afterpay, and the total value must be between $35 and $1,000. Afterpay is not available on purchases including gift cards or subscription orders (Tartelette Delivery). Don’t worry! We will only charge your credit card when your order is successfully placed and at the time of shipment.
