What does it add to your daily life?
I have a daily morning practice — each day feels new with yoga. Each pose has it’s benefits and challenges, just like each step in life.
What should a yoga newbie keep in mind when attending their first class?
Keep in mind: Go back to the mat. Whatever feelings come up, go back to the mat.
Side-leans. Hold one arm of the chair and raise your opposite arm, keeping it straight, then lean over the left and right side. Take three deep breaths on each side.
What does the phrase ‘well-being’ mean to you?
Well-being is a belief. You must believe in your own well-being otherwise you health is lacking. We have the power to choose our own thoughts, and to make them positive.
Give us one word to describe your relationship to nature?
What’s your hidden talent?
I can associate smells with the most random but ‘on point’ objects, people, or a time in life.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate! Every day!
What does ‘natural beauty’ mean to you?
Simple is nature’s intention.
