I love a good bargain, and seeing the letters S. A. L. E. hanging in store windows makes my blood rush. Still, I’ve never been the type to get out of bed before dawn and battle the notoriously aggressive Black Friday crowds. Instead I spend Thanksgiving weekend plotting a Cyber Monday offense attack. As more online boutiques begin to throw their “free shipping” hats in the ring, the deals continue to get better. Below are six of the best internet bargains a girl can find.
This online emporium has so many incredible deals going on right now I can’t even list them all. Instead, I suggest you double-check your gift list and head straight to their site.
The cyber destination “where fashion discovers jewelry” is offering 20% off anything on the site between 11am and 3pm EST. Oh yeah, and they’re throwing in free shipping.
The mega discount site will be launching brand new sales every three hours in all of their stores between noon and 9pm EST—plus their offering doorbusters for at least 70% off each round as well. If you’re not a member, perhaps you should look in to it.
With graphic Ts starting at $4 and outerwear at $15, you can afford to stock up for every kind of winter weather scenario possible.
Saving the best for last: We’re offering up to $30 off, plus a full-size free gift, plus free shipping on orders $40 or more!

It’s no secret that Halloween is one of our favorite holidays here at tarte! Not only do we indulge in sweets and costumes, but we love to see celebs getting into the spooky spirit too. Here are our favorite celebrity Halloween costumes of 2011.
Left to right: Liv Tyler as Cat Woman, Kim Kardashian as Poison Ivy, Holly Madison as Rapunzel, Heidi Klum as a living biology lesson, and below is Debra Messing in Day of the Dead makeup.
Like a lot of you, we’ve been swept away by ABC’s new fairytale drama Once Upon a Time. The show’s premise is that all of our favorite childhood storybook characters have been cursed, forced to live in modern times, had their memories wiped and are all inhabiting a small town in Maine. Not only is this a refreshing take on the Brothers Grimm, but the dual timeline gives the actors the opportunity to play two characters, showcasing various personalities, styles and beauty looks.
Take one of our favorite cast members, Ginnifer Goodwin. The actress, whose gamine face has pretty much ensured her the ingénue role for the rest of the decade, manages to pull off two flawless and fashionable looks simultaneously. As pre-cursed Snow White and modern schoolteacher Mary Margaret Blanchard, she frequently swaps out one color palette for another in a single episode, sporting icy cool shades in one scene and a sweet, dewy look in the next.
Bravo Ginny! You nail them both.
Fancy yourself a modern Snow White, or do you think you rock the soft, sweet style of a small town beauty? To achieve either character’s pristine porcelain look follow the how-to below.
Snow White’s cool beauty:
Complexion: provocateur pressed mineral powder in fair
Lashes: lights, camera, lashes! mascara
Mary Margaret Blanchard’s lovely, warm glow:
Complexion: smooth sperator™ tinted moisturizer in agent 06
Striking and boldly feminine, the cat eye is a makeup classic. That thick slash of black eyeliner on the top lid is both girlie and mysterious — and it’s definitely back in style.
While the ladies of Mad Men have been sporting the look for a couple of years now, new shows like Pam Am — an office obsession — and The Playboy Club — no one’s obsession — have made it hard to escape the timeless style, no matter what channel you’re on. Considering that the cat eye was originally popularized by beauty icons as versatile as Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn and factory girl Eddie Sedgwick, why wouldn’t you give it a try?
So go ahead, dip your toe into the pool of retro glam. In fact we’ll help you take the plunge. We asked Jen to film a quick and easy beginners guide to applying a softer, daytime cat eye with our multiplEYE lash enhancing liquid eyeliner. Check it out and let us know what you think!
Anyone one who tunes into watch our Founder and CEO Maureen Kelly on QVC knows that she introduces some amazing new products on air. In fact, we’re so excited about our latest launches that we want to get them in your hands as soon as possible. That’s why today we’re raffling off a tarte prize package on twitter.
Maureen will be featuring our gifted Amazonian clay smart mascara on Beauty Newsmakers during the 1pm EST hour TODAY, and the raffle winner will receive a duo pack of this mascara!!
To enter the raffle tweet “#maureenonscreen @qvc with @tartecosmetics gifted Amazonian clay mascara” as soon as you see Maureen appear on QVC during today’s 1pm EST Beauty Newsmakers. It’s that simple. We’ll choose a tweet at random and announce the winner at the end of the day.
Good luck! Get tweeting tartelettes!!

As you may have heard, last week Allure magazine awarded our Amazonian clay 12-hour blush the best powder blush of 2011! We were honored by the recognition and thought a little tutorial was in order — for both our longtime fans and tarte newbies.
