How To Use
- Generously coat the sculpted paint brush and apply in a zig zag motion, starting at the base of lashes and pulling through to the tip
- For finishing touches, use the fanned bristles at the tip of brush to coat the inner and outer corners
- Apply two coats for enhanced volume and drama

Good mascara!
I have short and somewhat sparse eyelashes. This mascara does a nice job making my lashes a little longer and a little thicker, yet still natural looking. I am not crazy about the brush. I would rather have a regular brush, but it does a good job.

The best Mascara I've ever used!
This is the BEST Mascara!!! I've tried all of Tarte's Mascaras and tons of other companies but this one is the absolute best. I will still buy others and try them but this is my go to Mascara. It comes out perfectly. It makes my lashes look so long and I love it.

Best Mascara!
My favorite for a long time was the Maneater but I've switched to Lash Paint! It is long lasting and my go to mascara for everyday and everywhere. It is easily buildable if you able looking for a more dramatic look.

BEST ANSWER: Hello Tartelette:) This mascara is not waterproof but is water resistant and triple black pigment so the truly black pigment really brightens the eyes! For waterproof try our iconic tarte LCL Splashes mascara. Its waterproof without all the icky bad stuff. I actually like to wardrobe mascaras and wear them layered depending on the day I have ahead of me so I suggest getting both if you can. Hope this helps!

Similar to what others have said, this mascara is not waterproof. I am teary-eyed but this mascara does okay, but if I rub then it will smear. But, I've notice that on the lower lashes it is less likely to smudge compared to other mascaras I've tried. Long story short, not waterproof but smudge-free enough to get by!

It’s simply the packaging. I thought the same thing at first. The tip of the wand is thinner so your eyelashes aren’t as thickly coated (unless you really layer the mascara on.) I personally prefer maneater.

I have very sensitive eyes and this is one mascara I’ve never had issues with! I feel with the type of wand I have more control on how close I can get to my lid. This formula doesn’t make my eyes water like most do.

It removes fairly easily, much easier than waterproof mascaras. But I always double cleanse with an oil followed by face wash at night. The facial cleansing oil takes it right off.

No! This is an awesome mascara...I've been using it for about 2 years now and I love it..I always get compliments on my eyes because of it! It goes on very smooth, no clumping, and gives you a lot of volume to make your eyes really pop!

I feel like the tartiest mascara makes lashes look longer and keeps a curl better than the lights camera lashes mascara, which I think might make lashes look more voluminous. I also think the tartiest is less likely to smudge on bottom lashes, but every lash is different!

I have used lights camera lashes too, but since I started using tarteist lash paint, I’ve not used any other, they are both very similar but I do prefer this lift and thickness of Tarteist. Definitely give it a go.

They are are different. The lash paint works much better for someone who has sparse light lashes. I would say the lights camera would work better for someone who has fuller lashes.

We all have different lash lengths, thickness, etc. I have deep set eyes and my lashes are very thin and this has a better lift than the lights camera action.

I find that the tartist mascara has better lengthening and separating power, where as the Lights Camera Action mascara is more about the volume

BEST ANSWER: When I wear this mascara for me there is a noticeable difference in length! Ive always had problems in the past with a good mascara and I found that the result looks just like the pictures.

BEST ANSWER: This mascara wasn't great for waterproof for me. However, I used the "Stay spray" and this kept my mascara and other make-up on for almost 8 hours.

Not that I’m aware off; but it’s the best mascara I have ever used and it makes your lashes longer, thicker and just more visible. I use it after the white primer. Hope this helps.

Yes, it comes off in a quick shower and I never have to worry about using makeup wipes. If I don’t shower then I just wash my face in the sink and it comes off easily with water.

I feel like the lights, camera, action mascara make my lashes longer and whispier. And the lash paint makes the fuller and thicker. I use both. One coat of the l.c.a. and then top coat is lash paint.

I feel like the lights camera lashes is a lot more subtle but highlights every lash. The tastiest lash gives a more vibrant black appearance.

If you’re mascara is drying out, you can make it last longer by adding 1 drop of a natural oil such as Argan oil or placing it under hot water for a few seconds (closed) then roll bottle between hands for a few seconds. Hope this helps!

make sure your lashes are squeaky clean before using, curl after heating up a curler for a few seconds with a blowdryer. After removing, put a little bit of castor oil on your lashes to strengthen in between using. :)
