Our digital marketing manager is one of the few people we know who can deftly, and flawlessly, navigate the fine line between quirky and couture — obviously she had to curate one of our gifts guides. Here are her top gift picks for the holiday season:

(clock from the top left)

tarte cheek stain in dollface; “This time a year, my skin starts to look a little dull from lack of exposure to warm sunshine. Just a little dab goes a long way and I love this soft cotton candy pink color for a naturally pretty look.”

Begley Whiskey Tortoise glasses; “It’s time for some new frames but since shopping for prescription glasses is so specific, this may just be a gift I give to myself this year. I know it would probably help with the eleven I am forming from squinting so much…maracuja oil can only do so much.”

Tata Harper Iritability treatment aromatherapy oilLike everyone, I have stressful moments. I feel silly having a product like this but it’s one that truly works for me. I rub a little maracuja oil on my skin first as a body oil then layer this over on my pulse points and temples for a relaxing treatment. Sometimes I play classical music while doing this… OK, now I’ve told you way too much.”

tarte pure maracuja oil; “This is the ultimate moisturizer but it’s also a decorative piece too. I love all things pretty for the home and this luxe glass bottle dresses up any vanity.”

Cotton candy cupcakes; “Someone sweet in my life likes to bake sweet things for me. Cupcakes using this recipe from Real Simple would make me smile.”

 J. Crew cashmere sweater;  “You can’t go wrong with a J. Crew cashmere sweater… especially during the Holidays. An easy staple that will last. At my house, we keep dress fairly casual during the Holidays so this is what I’d wear Christmas day with a pair skinny jeans and vintage riding boots. Simple and comfortable!”

Tarina Tarantino crystal flower earrings in aqua; “These crystal flower earrings are my trademark. They have sentimental value to me so they are the only earrings I ever wear.  I have them in just about every color except silk which feel so festive to me. I’d love to find this pair in my stocking.”

Imagine by John Lehrer; “This book is on my Amazon wish list! Several friends have recommended it. Lehrer examines the science of creativity  and shows the steps we can take to become more innovative in our daily lives. I’m constantly seeking inspiration and this is what I want to read on the bus when I travel to the Cape and back for the Holidays.”

Scented B-A-N-A-N-A-S wallpaper from Flavor Paper; “I am obsessed with their funky/fresh wallpaper designs and this wallpaper smells like banana runts. I’d love to do a creative focus wall in my office, and this could work… banana is a skinvig. I suppose I should add “an office” to this list. Hint, hint MK. ;)”
