SHIPPING AND RETURNS

CAN I RETURN MY CUSTOM KIT?
Unfortunately, we can’t issue refunds, exchanges or cancellations for any items purchased within your Custom Kit. All items are final sale.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Our priority during our Custom Kit event is to get your kit shipped to you as soon as possible! Due to the high volume of orders, this may take us a bit longer than normal. A shipment confirmation is typically emailed 5-7 business days after your order was placed depending on the country it is shipping to. The shipment confirmation will include your tracking number, so you can easily check in on your package. For US Orders, please allow 10-15 business days from the time you receive your shipping confirmation. For International, due to Covid-19, please add 10-15 business days to the shipping time frames chart here.

ARE ITEMS IN MY CART RESERVED?
Adding to your cart does not reserve the products. Once you complete the checkout process, they’re all yours!

THE CUSTOM KIT HAS SOLD OUT OF MY SHADE OR ITEM.
Unfortunately, if your Custom Kit item is out of stock online then we won’t be able to fulfill your request. We recommend selecting a different item! Also, please note that we won’t be able to process any returns or exchanges for items purchased in your kit since all Custom Kit items are final sale.

I ACCIDENTALLY BOUGHT THE WRONG SHADE OR ITEM! HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?
Since our warehouse is working hard to get your Custom Kit items shipped out as quickly as possible, we’re unable to change or cancel your order once it has been placed.

I ACCIDENTALLY ENTERED THE WRONG SHIPPING ADDRESS! CAN I GET THIS UPDATED?
Since our warehouse is working hard to get your Custom Kit items shipped out as quickly as possible, we’re unable to edit your shipping address once it has been placed.

HOW DO I USE MY PROMO CODE FOR CUSTOM KIT?
Because our Custom Kit promotion is such an incredible steal, it’s excluded from all other promotion codes & discounts!

HOW DO I USE MY eGiftCard?
To use your eGiftCard, simply add products to your cart as normal & when you get to the billing portion of the checkout process, you can input your Gift Certificate code. Please be sure to click ‘apply’!

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE AN ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL?
You should receive your order confirmation email within 12 hours of purchasing. If you don't receive confirmation, please call us at (646) 971-2676.

HELP! I'M GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE AT CHECKOUT.
There are a few common reasons you may see an error message at checkout:

  • The address you have listed in your profile doesn't match your card's billing address, or your billing information is incorrect.
  • An item you are attempting to purchase is out of stock. We recommend clearing your cart & reading your items. If you're unable to re-add something, it has unfortunately sold out.
  • Please also note that the billing/shipping countries of your purchase must match. Additionally, we do not ship to freight forwarding companies or cargo exports.

MY ORDER FAILED & I HAVE A PENDING AUTHORIZATION.
Don’t worry! We’ll only charge your credit card if & when your order ships. If your order failed, the transaction you’re seeing isn’t an actual charge, but instead a temporary authorization hold that was created when you attempted to place your order. This authorization hold will be removed within 7 to 10 business days & the funds will be released back to your account.

We want you to be entirely happy with your purchase from tarte. Unfortunately we don’t accept returns or exchanges on orders made outside of the US & PR.
