brow pomade- the new one
I really loved the original eyebrow pot, but the lid on this one is a pain to get on straight, the shiny gold doesn't say 'environmentally friendly ' to me, which is why I gravitate toward this line. I love that the container is glass, not plastic too. The taupe color is supposed to be for blonde, or grey haired people, but it is just too dark. In your face dark. I have the brush from the earlier version, which I also love. Hey Taste, if it isn't broken, don't fix it! The original was much better!!!!

I used the old tarte pomade that came with that angled by for years. It was finally on its last leg and I needed a replacement only to find that it’s discontinued! So, i’ve tried other brands and nothing even compares. Other brands are streaky and have poor application. I decided to give this other pomade a try and it’s amazing! Just as good as the old one and I got the same shade which also matches. So thankful to have this in my life!

I’m always trying new brow products. Brows are probably my favorite part of my makeup routine, I have really thin eyebrows and this helps them look fuller while also looking natural. A little lasts a very long time, too! I sweat a lot in the summer due to the medication I’m on, and it doesn’t come off, which is a huge plus for me. Serves my purpose...as liner/shadow!
I find this a bit too thick for brows; it looks too obvious that it is 'drawn' onto the brow even if I use very thin strokes. However, it's perfect for use as a thick liner/shadow stroke at the base of my upper lashes. I need some deep color to highlight my receding eyes (I'm a senior) and this serves the purpose of lining and bringing some definition to my eyes. Plus, it lasts a LOT longer than the powder shadow I had been using to do this. It also washes off very easily and gently with cleansing towels I use at night to remove makeup.

Name the same,color changed
I have been using this product for years but the most recent jar I bought in March of 2021 is completely different. The name is the same color but it is much darker, the product is much thicker and does not apply as smoothly. I definitely do not like the changes they have made and am looking for a different product.

I always replaced the lid on after each dip just to be sure, I’ve use a different pomade brow before from different brand that dried up on me so I’m just cautious this time coz I wanna be able to use every bit of this. Definitely worth a try.

I've used both Benefit and Anastasia pomades which I have found to both dry out much quicker than Tarte. The formula is creamier than other high end brands which also makes for easier application.

I love this product and yes, I believe it is much better than the eyebrow pencil. Be sure and purchase the Tarte Eye brow brush! It is the perfect width for my brows, and I love the brush on the end.

My experience is that the pomade is more impactful (rich and textural) than a pencil product. More like you see on photographic magazine models and the runway... so best for evening use.

BEST ANSWER: It's much creamier and easier to work with. The abh pomade is a bit on the dry side, which makes it more difficult for me to use. I prefer the Tarte Frameworker pomade, and Tarte's pomade has more color selections. FYI, the medium cool brown is stil warm toned. Just get dark brown if you're looking for an actual cool toned medium brown pomade.

BEST ANSWER: All day wear for certain. If I go to sleep with my makeup on (rare), my brows are still on pointThe next morning! Of course I wash off and apply fresh the next day. The pod is little but all you need is a little on your brush because it goes such a long way. It’ll probably take me over a year if not more to get through this pod. A great deal. Taupe is my favorite. I have medium brown hair with highlights all over.

No, It is a lot darker. Almost looks like a dark brown. I use to use the amazonian clay in taupe. This new one is also more wet in consistency.

I find it sort of difficult to draw individual hairs with it (though maybe that's just due to my skill level). I would recommend one of their brow pencils if you just need to draw a few fine hairs. This product is better for adding definition and intensity to existing brows.
