We were very lucky to have the entire tarte team at our corporate office this week! While we’re still small enough a company to know everyone by name, it’s rare that we all get together in one place! Here’s to our amazing tarte artists, corporate staff, and all the tartelettes that love and believe in our brand!
What are you doing this Saturday? Come visit us at Columbus Circle Sephora…free makeovers, gifts bags, music, fun and a lot of Holiday beauty!
Happy leap year tartelettes, and welcome to February!
If you’re anything like us, you know there’s nothing better than free time. We’ve decided to make the most of 2012’s extra day by spending the next 29 days focusing on what makes tarte tick: powerful, pure products and YOU: our passionate tartelettes.
Yes, you are just as important as our ingredients and innovations!
We love hearing your feedback and ideas. So this leap year we’re launching our ‘#tweets4tarte’ campaign, 29 ideas in 29 days.
The campaign is simple, we’re putting you in the creative driver’s seat. We’ll post a question about makeup, ingredients, design and many other topics on twitter and you answer it with gloves off honestly. Tell us what you really think about what we’re doing and what we should be doing — help us give YOU what YOU want.
Please read our terms & conditions.
The holidays are a big deal here at the tarte office, and before we close up shop to join our families for Thanksgiving we want to share with you what makes us thankful this year.
I’m thankful for my two beautiful boys, my amazing husband and the fact that I get to spend this holiday with my family — they are so important to me. I’m also thankful that over the past year tarte has introduced me to so many incredible people — from all of you tartelettes out there, to the newest additions to our tarte team! Happy holidays!
-Maureen Kelly, tarte Founder and CEO
I’m thankful for my health. Last week I was ill with bronchitis, on the verge of pneumonia. With the help of medication, hydration, rest and some good ole family lovin’ in the sunny state of Florida I’m feeling much better (almost back to my running self)! Good health always leads to happiness!
-Candace, Director of Communications and Market Strategy
I’m thankful for the frequent flier miles that will get me home to see my family in Germany this year, for my amazing friends here in the US, and the fact that pumpkin spiced flavored coffee is back on the menu for at least another couple months.
-Koryn, Community Manager
I’m thankful for the journey (NYC>BOS) to the destination (Thanksgiving at my parents’ home). My friend and I are taking the lousiest bus in New York for the 5+ hour road trip but we’re wearing comfy clothes, drinking spiked hot chocolates, and watching the Family Stone on his laptop. I’m almost as excited for the trip as I am for my mom’s cookin’!
-Jenna, Creative Marketing Manager
I’m thankful for how life can totally surprise you in the greatest of ways…and always when you’re least expecting it! This year I am most grateful for my new NYC apartment with my awesome boyfriend, my new job here at tarte, and the amazing new friends I have made because of it all. I’m feeling like a very lucky girl this holiday season!
-Ali, Director of Package Development
I’m thankful for 2011 in general. Thanks to my wonderful family, friends and fiancé for making it a great year. Here’s to a wonderful Holiday Season!
-Kim, Accounting Analyst
I am thankful for the opportunity to live in New York City and work at tarte! I have always had a passion for makeup, beauty, and public relations, so when this position opened up, I went for it! Living in the city has opened my eyes to a whole new culture of people and experiences I only dreamed of!
-Farrah, Public Relations Intern
I’m thankful for my friends and family. Moving back to New York has brought me closer to both and I’ve never been happier. I’ve met so many amazing people (including my boyfriend!) who will always have my back and make me smile everyday.

When most people hear the word lace, images of cheesy va-va-voom lingerie ala Fredericks of Hollywood or Great-granny’s turn of the century wedding gown come to mind. Well, tartelettes, Mimi is here to show you that the days of bad lace are over! For the past two or three years, the print has been making a quiet comeback, but for Fall 2009 its back in black, baby. And ready to play both nigh and day!Yep, you heard me- during the a.m. too!
I have compiled a collection of luscious lacy looks that’ll have you moving from coffee at your desk to cocktails at the bar like a seasoned stylista. So “lace” yourself for some majorly ToDieFor pieces!

I’m so excited because it is my husband’s birthday on Friday and I am going to surprise him by taking him to Dave & Busters! He has absolutely no idea and I can’t wait to play skee ball and the Dance Dance Revolution game! -Heather
Happy New Year everyone! I’m very excited because today I’m getting a visit from our fabulous board member (and my friend) Maurey, who I haven’t seen in almost 3 years. She’s going to stop by tarte HQ for a visit with everyone and then we get to have a nice catch-up dinner. Of course, it’ll be 16 degrees tonight, but I’m excited nonetheless. We’re both eagerly awaiting the day tarte expands to London, so I can visit her for a change. (Plus, I never pass up the opportunity to be in London!) -Alexis
So for the past 2 days on the news here in NYC it’s been nothing but coverage on the blizzard that’s about to hit us. I was skeptical that it would even happen but as Maria and I made our coffee run this morning we were pelted with chunks of hail. Now it’s snowing like crazy! If I was still in school I’d be hoping for a snow day and then spend the day sledding and drinking hot cocoa! Maybe the tarte girls will have an impromptu sledding break today?! -Erica
