For international orders, tarte cosmetics ships worldwide and standard shipping is free with purchases that meet the country/region-specific order value minimum. See our international faqs for more details.

Expedited shipping options are available for an additional fee depending on your location! These options & prices are listed at check out. Please note: FedEx Overnight & 2 Day shipping refers to the time after the package has left the warehouse which may take 1-2 business days.

In order to get your products to you as soon as possible, your order begins processing immediately after it's placed. Once an order is placed, we’re unable to cancel or make any changes.


To avoid shipping address issues in the future, we recommend updating your address details in your tarteperks Loyalty account. You may also need to confirm that you have the correct saved addresses in third party payment accounts where available. Please see our international faqs for more details on accepted payment methods.

Once you place your order, please allow <span class="font-family-bold">1-2 business days</span> for warehouse processing for all shipping methods. Processing time may be extended during high volume periods.

International orders will be shipped via standard or express ship methods, based on what you select at checkout. See below for an overview of shipping options. Duties, taxes and brokerage fees are not paid at checkout; instead, these applicable fees are due and payable by you upon delivery in your country/region.

Some products & ingredients have shipping restrictions outlined by the U.S. Department of Transportation. These products are not available for air-transport & can only be shipped ground.

tarte.com ships to US P.O. Boxes for Standard Shipping only. If FedEx Expedited Shipping is selected on the checkout page, the order must include a street address, or it will be cancelled before it is shipped from the warehouse. The customer will not be charged for the cancelled order.

Yes, tarte does ship to APO boxes and military addresses. Due to military handling time, delivery to some destinations may take up to 30 or more days.

Sometimes tracking information can take 24 to 48 hours to update after your order ships. Also, it may take 1-2 days to update between package scans as your order moves between carrier locations. No worries! Your order is likely still en route to you! You can always check your order status in your order history.

Sometimes packages are marked as delivered before they actually arrive! Your package will likely be delivered shortly after it's been marked as delivered. Be sure to check with your neighbors and post office for more information. However, if you still haven't received your package after 3-5 business days, please feel free to email us.

Simply log in to your tarte.com account and select “Order History” in the “My Account” page to view your order and tracking details. If you don't have a tarte.com account, no problem! You can track your order here.

Sometimes we're unable to process orders due to item availability. We also reserve the right to refuse to process any order due to suspected fraud or unauthorized or illegal activity. If such is the case, we may reject your order or our customer service department may call you at the phone number you provided to confirm your order.

tarte cosmetics is a cruelty-free cosmetics line &amp; has been since 2000! tarte makeup &amp; skincare is never tested on animals. We are also an approved PETA participant.

All tarte products are formulated without gluten, as well as formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate, &amp; triclosan, just to name a few. tarte cannot guarantee that any ingredients or products were produced in an allergen free environment.

All ingredients and finished formulas tarte uses are tested &amp; based on US FDA requirements before being imported to the US. We also test each product ourselves to match our quality standards. Additionally, we are an approved PETA participant; they have audited our non-animal testing procedures.

While tarte cannot guarantee that any ingredients or products were produced in an allergen free environment, you can find the full ingredient list for each product in the 'ingredients' section of every tarte product page.

All tarte products contain a symbol on the box that notes how long you can use it once opened. Look for the open jar symbol with a number – this number indicates how many months the product should be used after opening.

We can assure that any product purchased from tarte.com or any of our authorized retailers is a genuine tarte product! One of tarte's missions is to protect our brand &amp; our customers. If you see a product online or in-store that you suspect is a counterfeit, knockoff or replica please send all information to [email protected]. If possible, please include images of the referenced product &amp; the location where you found it.

Purchasing & Availability

For our tartelettes, we offer a free sample with every purchase. You may choose your free sample at check out! Please note that while we make our best effort to deliver you the sample you chose, samples can change at any time and are subject to availability.

Adding to your cart does not reserve the products. Once you complete the checkout process, they’re all yours!

For items that are not limited edition, you can sign up to be notified once it's back in stock! Just enter your email address on the product page.

SPF regulations vary from country/region to country/region, so in specific locales we are unable to make SPF products available.

Membership is complimentary & allows you to earn points every time you purchase qualifying items on tarte.com. You can then redeem the points you earned online for exclusive reward coupons ー it's as easy as that!

As a member of tarte perks, you earn 10 points for every $1 you purchase on qualifying items on tarte.com. Points will be awarded to your account when your order is SHIPPED.

Your redeemable points are the number of points you have available to redeem for rewards as part of the tarte perks loyalty program. This number decreases with each reward you redeem and increases with each qualifying purchase you make at tarte.com. To view your current redeemable points balance, visit your tarte perks member dashboard or the tarte perks landing page when logged into your tarte perks account.


Your redeemable points balance will expire if you do not make a qualifying purchase during the 12-month anniversary from your last purchase.

Your tarte perks tier is determined by how many redeemable points you earn in any calendar year. Redeemable points accumulated in the previous calendar year do not contribute to your tier advancement in the current calendar year.

You can redeem your points for coupon rewards and reward products in your cart. When you redeem your points for coupon rewards in your cart, tarte.com will automatically apply a discount to eligible items in your cart. You cannot combine tarte&trade; perks rewards with other offers or other discount codes. Tarte&trade; may, in it's sole discretion, turn on and off loyalty coupons in checkout during any promotions.


tarte perks members can only redeem one product reward per transaction.

tarte perks reward discounts cannot be combined with other offers. For example, if you use your tarte perks redeemable points for 10% off of the total price for the eligible items in your cart, you may not use another coupon in the same transaction. Similarly, if tarte is running a promotional price on a product on tarte.com, you cannot also use your tarte perks redeemable points for an additional discount on that product.


tarte perks reward discounts can only be used at tarte.com and cannot be combined with gift cards or store credit. The reward discounts cannot be used in store with our retail partners.

Payment/Payment Methods

For US orders, tarte.com accepts American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We also accept PayPal, ApplePay, Afterpay, and AmazonPay. Please note we do not accept banking gift cards, international credit cards, checks or money orders.

When you place an order using a debit or credit card, an authorization is obtained from your bank. The authorization places a temporary hold on the funds. Please note: these funds have not been deducted but are being held within your account to ensure the order can be processed. This hold typically lasts from 7-10 days, depending on the policy of your bank. Your debit or credit card will not be charged until your order is shipped.

You can apply your e-gift card at the PAYMENT section of checkout in the box that says 'REDEEM GIFT CARD.' Please note that e-gift cards are available for US customers.

Depending on your bank or payment processor, US refunds should be processed within 7-10 business days.

Don’t worry! We will only charge your credit card when your order is successfully placed and at the time of shipment. If your order did not go through, you may still see a pending transaction on your credit card, but it isn’t an actual charge. It’s a temporary authorization hold that was created when you attempted to place your order. This authorization hold will be removed within 7 - 10 business days and the funds will be released back to your account.

For security purposes, we require the billing & shipping countries/regions of your purchase to be the same.

We are required by law to collect state sales tax on orders being shipped to the following states - WI, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA, AZ, MA, MD, VA, NV, VT, LA, OK and all provinces in Canada. Sales tax is calculated on the total of your order, after discount. The amount of tax charged to your order depends on your shipping address. The tax is calculated based on state rates and the items you are purchasing. We'll always show you how much Sales Tax you'll be charged when you go to checkout.

AfterPay

AfterPay allows you to pay for your purchase over four equal installments, due every two weeks, without any interest. This payment option is only available on US orders. You’ll pay your first installment at the time of purchase, and the remainder over time.

Afterpay is always zero interest, and there are never additional fees when you pay on time. The only fees are for late payments. We'll email your payment schedule and send notifications so there are no surprises.

Please note: All items in your shopping bag must be eligible for Afterpay, and the total value must be between $35 and $1,000. Afterpay is not available on purchases including gift cards or subscription orders (Tartelette Delivery). If you are purchasing gift cards or subscriptions along with Afterpay eligible products, you will need to place two separate orders.

Order adjustments are not supported with purchases made by Afterpay. If you have changed your mind, you can return your purchase to tarte.com for a refund. Please check that your return or exchange meets our Return policy here. Afterpay will be notified of your return and will process the appropriate refunds. Please do not return your purchase to Afterpay.

If you fail to make a payment, you will be charged an $8 late payment fee if the missed payment is not made within 10 days. Late fees will not exceed 25% of the total order amount. If Afterpay is unable to accept your form of payment, you must submit a new form of payment via credit or debit card.

Promo Codes

Be sure to check for typos, and/or copy and paste the exact promo code in the ENTER PROMO CODE box on the first page of checkout (when viewing your shopping bag). If your promo code isn't working, be sure to check the expiration date and that your code is valid for use on the products in your cart. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact us and include the promo code you are trying to use.

E-gift Cards

Only tartelettes within the US are currently able to purchase & redeem E-Gift certificates.

Although Tarte may ultimately fulfill your order, all financial aspects of your purchase (including payment and return) are solely governed by TikTok Shop terms and conditions. Tarte does not provide customers any order information of tarte products on TikTok Shop (including any TikTok Shops order, order confirmations, returns, refunds, and/or cancellations. When you place an order on tartecosmetics.com, we encode your information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology (you'll see the shopping cart switch from http to https). This is an advanced consumer online security technique.

Our website works best with modern browsers, such as the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer. For security reasons we do not support older browsers such as Internet Explorer 7 or 8.
