It is shimmery like glass, so as advertised. My preference is not Tarte's fault. It also seemed to spread outside the lip line on me. My new favorite lip product "I got this as a gift from a friend and wow! I love everything about this: the color, the feel, the ease of use. I will make a note to say that I'm not sure it does anything to plump the lips at all, but I've never cared for that, so it's not a big deal for me. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about the packaging. Favoriteee lip product ever!! "I have never been more obsessed with a lip product in my life. It feels fantastic on the lip and is actually really hydrating. The plumping tingle is pleasant and it has a nice effect, especially in the shimmer glass! I actually use this throughout the winter instead of carmex when my lips tend to get chapped.
